New Funding Opportunities

The Office for Victims of Crime (OVC) is seeking applicants for the following funding opportunities. Learn about these funding opportunities, along with forthcoming opportunities and pre-application webinars to help guide you through solicitation requirements and the application process. 

 

OVC seeks applications from states or Tribes to develop, enhance, and coordinate programs and activities geared toward improving outcomes for child and youth victims of sex and labor trafficking. This program aims to improve statewide coordination and multidisciplinary collaboration across systems to address human trafficking involving children and youth.

The goal of this program is to provide services that address the needs of minor victims of sex and labor trafficking through a continuum of trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and gender-responsive services to ensure their safety, security, and healing and to prevent them from being directed to or involved in the justice system.

The purpose of this program is to develop, expand, or strengthen victim service programs for victims of human trafficking under five purpose areas.


  1. Purpose Area 1: Developing Capacity to Serve Human Trafficking Victims

  2. Purpose Area 2: Comprehensive Services for Human Trafficking Victims

  3. Purpose Area 3: Legal Services for Human Trafficking Victims

  4. Purpose Area 4: Economic Empowerment, Education, and Employment Services for Human Trafficking Victims

  5. Purpose Area 5: Behavioral and Physical Health Services for Human Trafficking Victims

The purpose of this program is to develop, expand, or strengthen a multidisciplinary approach to better respond to human trafficking under three purpose areas.


  1. Purpose Area 1: Development of New Local or Tribal Human Trafficking Task Forces

  2. Purpose Area 2: Expansion of Local or Tribal ECM Human Trafficking Task Forces (Previously Funded by OJP)

  3. Purpose Area 3: Enhanced Support for Statewide Task Forces (New or Previously OJP-funded)


This collaborative approach must include victim and social service providers; law enforcement; prosecution personnel; individuals with lived experience; and a range of other governmental and nongovernmental partners that work together to provide access to a diverse set of services for trafficking victims and to seek justice on their behalf.

Pre-Application Webinars

OVC will conduct pre-application webinars during which OVC staff will review planned FY 2024 anti-trafficking solicitations, provide high-level information about solicitation requirements, and conduct a question-and-answer session with interested potential applicants. Participation is optional. Visit the OVC Funding Webinars page or the Human Trafficking Microsite to learn more about available webinars for the solicitations you’re interested in.
