IN FOCUS: Human Trafficking
OJP NEWS from U.S. Department of Justice, Office of Justice Programs

Human trafficking is a crime that involves the exploitation of a person for the purpose of compelled labor or a commercial sex act.
Through program funding, research projects, and more, the Office of Justice Programs (OJP) and its program offices are working to provide information and resources related to human trafficking. OJP’s Office for Victims of Crime, for example, manages the largest amount of funding across the Federal Government dedicated to providing services to victims of human trafficking.
